ComponentArt Inc. (Toronto) is seeking a DEVELOPER SUPPORT ANALYST to join our dynamic, innovative and growing Support Team. Candidates will have working experience with the Microsoft ASP.NET platform in a development or support role, and have a desire to provide comprehensive developer support for the industry’s best-of-breed product line.

The DEVELOPER SUPPORT ANALYST is responsible for the following:
Provision of Technical Support Services to End-User Developers

    * Provide ongoing one-on-one pre and post-sales support (via e-mail, online forums and phone) to ComponentArt’s customer base of .NET developers.

Contribution to Technical Support Infrastructure

    * Enhance customer “self-help” support tools such as product documentation, tutorials, programming examples, demos, FAQs and knowledgebase articles.
    * Suggest, develop and implement new Support policies, processes and systems to streamline and maximize the effectiveness of the Technical Support function.
    * Develop and maintain the ComponentArt.com website.

Contribution to Product Development

    * Track product bugs, user comments, suggestions etc. Organize and present this feedback for continuous product improvement.
    * Work with the QA team to create product test cases.

Company Representation in the Developer Community

    * Represent the company in the online .NET developer community.
    * Write and/or contribute to technical articles for online resource sites.

Qualifications

    * Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET
    * Knowledge of the Microsoft .NET framework, C# and VB.NET
    * Knowledge of Javascript/DOM/AJAX
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    * Excellent customer service skills
    * Development experience with ComponentArt's products an asset
    * Technical documentation experience an asset

Location

    * Downtown Toronto

Timing

    * Required immediately
