Salary Range: (50-75k) (depending on skills and experience)
A small, established company is looking to develop the next generation of its product. The company is leaning towards using Silverlight to develop a rich Internet application. The situation can be viewed as one with all the advantages associated with a 'start-up' (i.e. delivering an innovative solution, defining the processes and methodology, defining the framework, etc.), but without the risks (i.e. is there truly a market for the product? Is the business viable? Will the company survive? etc.)
Position Summary
We are looking for someone that is interested in working in a very small team to lay the foundation of a new product. This is an exciting opportunity to truly define, design and develop a solution from end-to-end.
Required Skills:
- Intermediate/Advanced C#
- Intermediate Microsoft SQL knowledge
- Ability to define and meet your own deadlines
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- UI Design
- Experience in WPF
- Flash and/or Silverlight Experience
- Passion for Web technologies
