Hi,
I'm very satisfied with the book Visual Basic .NET Web Applications (Osborne/Mc Graw Hill) which also is a study guide for Microsoft's exam 70-305.

The website http://www.experts-exchange.com/ sounds very useful, but I would to know some canadian website in this field. I care about what they encountered and what they are interesting.
Best regards,

does learning vb is essential to learn vb.net?
Check out the MSDN webcasts (http://msdn.microsoft.com/training/webcasts/). There's a lot of great material there and there are two or three series of presentations on getting started with VB.NET.
