6:45 p.m. - TOPIC: Line of Business Application featuring Silverlight:  This session will walk through the creation of a simple line of business application using Silverlight 2 RC0, WCF and LINQ.  The sample will highlight the Model-View-View-Model design pattern to decouple the dependency between the user interface and business layer.  This pattern also facilitates the workflow between designer and developer.

Speaker BIO: 

Carlos Rocchetti, is a technical architect at Navantis, and has been in the IT industry for over 12 years.  He has been involved in various projects, including a Hospital information system called CCIS for which his team received the 2007 Tech-Net innovation award.  Carlos has been working with Silverlight since beta 1, and is very keen on practically applying this technology and WPF to line of business applications.  Carlos is a Microsoft Certifified Technology Specialist – ASP.NET.
